Aurélie Marcuzzo: From Business Intelligence to Customer Success in a Startup
Meet Aurélie Marcuzzo, Customer Success at Conduktor. From France to London, she onboards customers, tests features, and gives users the love they need.

From Accenture to Conduktor
I studied IT Sciences at Engineering School, then spent a year in Business School specializing in Business Intelligence. During that time I started a two-year apprenticeship at Accenture for Michelin in France. That's where I met Julien, who now works in Product Management at Conduktor. When I was between contracts, Julien introduced me to Florent, Conduktor's Chief Strategy Officer, and to the Customer Success role.
Why a Startup Over a Big Contract
After meeting Florent and talking with Julien, I realized this was completely different from the contract I was waiting on. The conversations felt personal. I wouldn't be just a number. I could have real impact.
The move to London was a bonus. I love working hybrid: living in a cool city while having the flexibility to work from home when needed.
What My Day Looks Like
My day is varied. I work across Engineering, Product, and Sales.
Every morning I have a standup with my Customer Success teammates, Jean-Louis and Lorcan, to sync on priorities. Then I handle admin tasks and move into customer work.
I onboard new customers and help existing ones with platform issues, missing features, or bugs they've found. I funnel this feedback to Product and Engineering, so I'm constantly talking to people across the company.
I also manage Intercom for reactive support, write documentation that translates technical language into clear instructions, and test features before customers see them. If something breaks, I flag it to engineering.
The summary: I give our customers the love they need to succeed on our platform.
What I'm Looking Forward To
Watching my team and the wider company grow. Meeting new people in the office and seeing the impact they bring.
My Favorite Offsite Moment
At our Paris offsite in March 2023, I won one of our values awards for "we learn." I didn't expect it. Receiving recognition from the executive team and votes from everyone across the company felt meaningful. You don't get that kind of personal recognition at large companies. It reminded me why I joined Conduktor.
What I've Learned This Year
I went through a big transition: moving from a French company to a UK one, and from France to London. Having teammates who don't speak French pushed me to use English constantly. My improvement has been noticeable.
Outside of Work
I hang out with friends or explore London, wandering through new areas and shops. Otherwise I'm playing video games, embroidering, or booking tickets to Harry Styles concerts.
